Meetings & ToursPNW Annual Meeting | Chapter Meetings | Other Meetings of Interest September 21-23, 2011 PNW Fall Meeting "The Rancher's Perspective" Cranbrook, British Columbia Welcome to beautiful Cranbrook, BC; host of the PNW Fall Meeting and Tour. Situated in the southern portion of Canada's Rocky Mountain Trench and framed by the Rocky Mountains to the east and the Purcell Mountains to the west, the Trench boasts a diversity of plant communities from open grasslands and ponderosa pine forests in the valley bottom to interior Douglas-fir and Montane spruce ecosystems at higher elevations. Join us at some of the area's ranches including Minor Ranching Co. Ltd, Thunderhill Ranch, and JP Ranch on Thursday. Friday's optional tour will take participants to the 2004 BC Cattleman's Environmental Stewardship Award Recipient - Pine Butte Ranch. Don't miss out!!
